January marked the debut of the 2016 Lexus GS F performance sedan.

Lexus brought the GS to the market in 2012. Since then, they have introduced more compelling designs to attract new buyers, which led to the F series. Last year, 1 in 4 people who bought a Lexus purchased an F sport series.

Based off the mid-sized GS luxury sedan, the GS F builds upon the 350 F Sport to bring a completely re-engineered vehicle. The GS F will have a 5.0-liter V8 with 467 hp. It has an 8-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters for a manual option. The GS F has four different driving modes: Normal, Eco, Sport, and Sport S+.

This luxurious performance sedan fits 5 comfortably. The interior includes an analog clock, Remote Touch Interface for the 12.3″ video monitor, and the Active Sound Control system, complete with rear speakers. The vehicle has updated safety features called the Lexus Safety System+, which includes Radar Cruise Control, lane keep assist, and pedestrian detection.

The GS F will arrive in showrooms across the country in the Fall of 2015. Check back for more information.
