Lexus Debuts New 2013 Lexus LX 570 Sport Utility Vehicle In Detroit

Credit: Lexus USAOn January 9th, Lexus showed the world what the LX 570 would look wearing the new company mug – and we must say, it’s quite dashing.  The new signature spindle grille and trapezoidal features have worked wonders on the front fascia of Lexus’ largest offering, not to mention a new headlamp design and larger fog lamps than before.  Also new are the LED daytime running lights that now line the bottom of the updated headlamps.

While the obvious updates are outside, it’s the interior of the LX 570 that really shines.  Inside, the driver’s seat gets a new Easy Access system which makes entry and exit much easier by automatically retracting the when the driver’s side door is opened.  The front seats have also been upgraded with an improved cooling function over the previous model, and the middle row passengers are now afforded a new 120-volt power outlet so that they can easily plug in a curling iron charge a laptop or anything else they so desire.

Lexus is committed to still bringing value to the marketplace, and that’s no exception in the new LX 570 – Lexus is including more technology in the new 2013 model that was previously optional in the 2012 version, and it’s almost $7,000 worth of options that have now become standard equipment.  This includes things like four-zone independently adjustable climate control, front seat power cushion extensions, rear back-up camera, standard Lexus Navigation System and a nine-speaker Lexus Premium Sound system with iPod/USB connectivity, HD radio with iTunes tagging, and streaming audio via Bluetooth®.  The Lexus Navigation now includes exciting applications, such as Pandora®, OptenTable, MovieTickets.com and iHeartRadio.  You can also use popular social media applications, such as the ability to check-in using Facebook, or check restaurant reviews on Yelp.

Once we get our hands on a new LX 570, we’ll have to take the first opportunity available to show you what’s new for 2013.  New 2012 models will still be available for the next several months, so if you’re considering a LX 570, it’s a fantastic vehicle – and if you are so inclined, we urge you to pay us a visit so we can show you what we’re talking about, or please visit our website at www.mungenastlexusofstlouis.com.
